Nigerian Man Convicted of Killing His 3yr Old Nephew For Wetting Bed

Ben Igbinedion, 43, has been found guilty of killing his 3 year old nephew, Daniel Evbuowman after they shared bed.
Ben, of Bromley, southeast London, reportedly assaulted the little child in the early hours of March 2, 2013, after discovering Daniel wet the bed he and his uncle were sharing. After the assault Igbinedion put the child in a different bed, but when other family members tried to wake Daniel in the morning, they found him unresponsive. Daniel was taken to a hospital where he died.

Children as young as 12 are being given nicotine patches as part of a national bid to help them quit smoking.
Health advisers are being sent into schools to conduct ‘Support to Stop Smoking’ sessions with the schoolchildren.
The children - between the ages of 12 and 17 - are then offered vouchers which can be used to 'buy' nicotine replacement products such as lozenges and patches at pharmacies.
The legal age to buy cigarettes is 18.

Man Found Sleeping With Dead Wife Cleared Of Murder

A court in Kenya has acquitted a German man who was arrested while sleeping with the decomposing body of his Kenyan wife and charged with her murder, court officials said Friday.
The court in the coastal city of Mombasa ruled on Thursday that there was insufficient evidence to convict the man, identified in court documents as Michael Bibcke Robel, 43, from the city of Hamburg, of murdering Esther Elsi Igoki Munyi in December 2009.

Golden Eaglets Beat Mexico 3-0 To Win The 2013 U-17 Fifa World Cup

Nigeria on Friday defeated Mexico 3-0 in the final of the FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates.
A ninth minute own goal by Erick Aguirre separated the two sides in a keenly contested first half.
Nigeria created several scoring changes, but a combination of hard luck and profligate shooting denied them more goals in the entertaining encounter.
Mexico came close twice too, but Nigeria’s Dele Alampasu rose to the occasion to keep the scoreline in favour of the Eaglets.
However, the Manu-Garba tutored youngsters changed gear in the second and duly put the Mexicans to the sword.
Playmaker Kelechi Iheanacho scored the second goal in the 56th minute tapping in after the Mexicans goalkeeper parried skipper Musa Muhammed’s fierce drive into his path.
Muhammed put the icing on the cake with a superb free kick in the 81st minute to send Nigerians on the stands into frenzy.
Nigeria had earlier lifted the cadets’ world Cup in 1985, 1993 and 2007.

Bieber to Lil Twist You Can Have Our Stupid Catch Phrase

 Justin Bieber has officially KILLED his plans to create a clothing line called "Wild Kidz" -- but he's letting one of his old lackies munch on the scraps ... TMZ has learned.

Of course, "Wild Kidz" was that stupid catch phrase Bieber and his friends Lil Za and Lil Twist would shout while doing dumb crap like pissing in mop buckets  and flipping off ex-Presidents.

Bieber's people filed paperwork to trademark the phrase for a clothing line back in September ... and it seemed like the brand was on the fast track to production.

But as we previously reported, Bieb and the Lils started having some problems with their relationship (Bieb kicked 'em out of his Calabasas home) ... and in October, Lil Twist made a play for the brand by filing a trademark application  for the name "W.I.L.D. Kidz."

Clearly, a war was brewing ... but sources tell us Bieber is planning to wave the white flag because he's OVER the company -- and doesn't care enough to fight Twist for the rights to the name.

So in the end, Twist gets everything he wanted ... well almost everything ... 'cause he's still banned from sleepovers at Justin's place. Sad.
